Hopefully the pushback starts here. The Iwi (and Council) clowns who decided on this could start by apologising to Italy and Sweden as well as NZ for being fucking morons.

The pushback must start now. It’s almost too late. If people don’t realise the wrong people in power will never self-correct… we’re done for.

Another tragedy that could have been averted if common sense was running the show. When practicality and reality collide with ideology and agendas, harm and death are the outcomes.

"Having said that, where were the council engineers when they were removing the trees..? Asleep?"

I'm going to take a wild guess here. The engineers, knowing that those in charge (and to whom they report) wanted to remove those trees, were afraid for their jobs/livelihoods and so produced a report/analysis with predetermined conclusions that supported the desires of the-powers-that-be. If there is one thing that is always eminently clear and has been proven over and over again ad infinitum, it is that Leftists always have an agenda, and they do not allow such trivial matters as facts and reality get in the way of that agenda.

Where i live are also planted some bloody foreign trees: some of these are liked by birds such as tui and woodpigeons, especially Western Australian bushes (bird polinated?). All those against introduced trees should also de-introduce themselves! As well as holding soil together, treed soil absorbs water, whereas grass doesn‘t much it mostly running off (all from experience).

My husband and I were told we were ‘racists’ by a person we thought was our friend, when we commented on the personifying of Mt Taranaki. Instead of talking to us about our different views. We were sent a text spewing of vitriol, about how people like us make her daughters life more difficult, and that it was bad enough that I was racist, but she hadn’t expected it of my Chinese husband, as he ‘should know better’. Pardon me if I don’t excuse her own obvious bigotry.

We looked at this from a legal and yes, civil engineering point of view. What happens if people die on this personhood Mount? Can it be accused of murder?

The level of idiocy is remarkable - and heartbreaking. Why has it become so easy to dumb our people down? We are better than this. We simply must do better.

Haha, very good argument: sue the mountain eh!

I’ve been called a racist twice because: 1. I said in a discussion that i didn‘t like the sound of the Māori language (of which i was taught some of when young); 2. I said in the late ‘eighties that the Māori seats should be abolished (when ending FPP was being discussed, and actually MMP is no better), and that they should have been abolished in 1881 when men didn‘t now need to own land to be able to vote. In both cases by Europeans, and i was the only one in each room who didn‘t look European (!).

Wonderful and very important article. Common sense.

Yes folks iwism and maori superstition is taking nz backwards. The weak mayor of tauranga is captivated by iwi nonsense so there is little hope for the city.

He promised so much, then immediately upon election, turncoated.

Almost as if he intended to.

Honestly

Enough already

My comment on Facebook was removed. I equate this to other events using 'global warming' as the scapegoat and local authorites escaping liability. The destruction of Swannanoa and parts of Asheville NC USA, for example. Destruction was blamed on 'an extreme rainfall event caused by global warming ' when in fact the North Fork Dam underwent a partial breach (on 27th Sept 2024) when the emergency fusegate system failed to activate on time leading to a dangerous build up in head of water behind the dam. When it finally activated a dam break wave , the most dangerous of all flood processes, was released. NOAA the national agency and Asheville's water resourses officials, the local authority overlooked the physics of open channel flow with their version of events and presented a false dicotomy fallacy that the area was saved from a much greater catastrophe thus diminishing the actual one. The Resonance of Two Worlds The pursuit of understanding complex phenomena increasingly necessitates the adoption of transdisciplinary approaches, drawing upon diverse fields of knowledge to gain more comprehensive perspectives. In this context, both quantum physics and Indigenous knowledge systems offer unique and valuable insights into the nature of reality. Quantum physics, with its exploration of the fundamental building blocks of the universe, provides a framework for understanding energy, matter, and their interactions at the smallest scales. Simultaneously, Indigenous knowledge systems, developed through generations of close observation and deep connection with the natural world, offer holistic understandings of ecological relationships, sustainable practices, and the interconnectedness of life. This report focuses on the emerging area of "natural frequency patterns," which holds potential significance for both scientific understanding and traditional wisdom. Eric DiProspero Highbaugh and OFFWORLD SOUNDS GARDEN STUDIOS LLC have initiated the "Encircling Quantum Indigenous Frequency Patterns" project, suggesting an innovative exploration of this intersection, potentially with artistic or practical applications. The very existence of such a project indicates a growing cultural awareness of the potential connections between these seemingly disparate fields, reflecting a contemporary desire for a more integrated comprehension of the world around us. The involvement of a studio further implies a potential emphasis on the tangible expression or utilization of these concepts. This thesis posits that a synergistic investigation into the principles of quantum physics and the wisdom embedded within Indigenous knowledge systems can lead to the development of a novel framework for understanding and leveraging natural frequency patterns. This framework aims to foster a deeper individual and collective reconnection with Earth's inherent harmonic algorithms, ultimately leading to advancements in well-being, environmental sustainability, and cultural preservation. The term "synergistically investigating" emphasizes the necessity of a genuine integration of these knowledge systems, moving beyond mere comparison to achieve a richer understanding. Key principles of quantum physics, such as frequency, resonance, and entanglement, will be explored for their relevance to natural patterns. The holistic, intergenerational, and nature-based aspects of Indigenous knowledge systems will be examined for their profound insights into these patterns. The goal is to construct a "novel framework" that allows for both a deeper understanding and the practical application of "natural frequency patterns." This framework seeks to facilitate "individual and collective reconnection with Earth's inherent harmonic algorithms," suggesting a path towards a more harmonious relationship with the natural world. The anticipated outcomes include tangible "advancements in well-being," promoting health and balance; "environmental sustainability," encouraging practices that protect the planet; and "cultural preservation," recognizing and valuing traditional ecological knowledge.

So what's your thoughts on the removal of deep rooted trees in steep country susceptible to slips where a camping ground is directly beneath the end result being such an unimaginable horrific death for these people? ..buried alive. Apologies for the lack of big words.

What a load of Gobbledegook!

Quantum computing is faked, like AI is (computers are merely glorified addingmachines). The Bohr model of the atom, particle physics, quantum theory, quantum electrodynamics, quantum uncertainty, &c, and Einsteinian physics (Einstein was a flimflammer and a plagiarist) of relativity, multidimensional ”space-time”, ”big bang” theology, are all pseudoscience: there are better models of existance without the New Age fluff.

And there is no such thing as modern (ancient) Māori spirituality: i have investigated some of the words used, such as ’whakawātea’, and they are modern inventions.
