This is a massive article Penny-Marie. I really appreciate the effort you put in to finding out who what and why things are shaping up this way in our country (and others). Thank you.
Thank you SO much for your feedback and seeing it's as massive as I see it to be. I'm meant to be taking a much-needed break but instead spent the day researching this yesterday. It's exhausting. I wish we could be past all this nonsense. You've very appreciated. x
If it didn’t wholly originate there, almost every policy New Zealand puts into place is at least shaped by one or another UN resolution, framework, or “best-practice” guideline (think, for example, NZ Curriculum). Understanding the UN and its structure, power dynamics, and the sociopolitical and religious/ideological alliances is essential to understanding the current global turmoil. The UNs extreme left-wing, globalist social-engineering agenda isn’t a conspiracy theory but trickles down into national law, education, and cultural norms. Thank you for this article, Penny. It makes clear that, for the sake of future generations it's no longer enough to just coast along, saying “she’ll be right”. It won’t be. Only those on the extreme left, who have little regard for culture, tradition, common sense, individuality, or national sovereignty, applaud the UN’s agenda. This, the UNs very visible alignment with Islam and the rise of the extreme right are all reason to be wary. We're grateful that we still have all these platforms to speak freely!
Thank you ladies... it's so much worse than anyone can fathom. Better options are emerging globally but we each need to kick off our 'she'll be right' as you say, or our 'but I'm just one person, what can I do' attitude. We all can do something. Brave conversations, a bit of research, showing up, sharing, funding... everyone is a piece of the puzzle. We'll get there, I know we will. What NZers need to know is how very deep in it NZ is, not only as a guinea pig testing ground, but as the actual initiators. Still getting my head around that.
Thanks for reporting on this important vote against SOGI. It was through incremental measures and social coercion that the UN built such a pro LGBTIQ+ stance with lots of financial backing. By 2017 the UN Yogyakarta Principles enshrined LGBTIQ+ into international law. By 2020 the UN Partnership for Global LGBTIQ+ Equality was established. LGB and TIQ+ are joined together for corporate markets. For corporate markets in the med tech industries I am not so sure not allowing disability groups to feed off the rainbow coffers matters much. The global corporations that are stakeholders in these industries drive participation through ESG (environmental social governance) requirements in the same way the Human Rights Campaign forces incremental change in supporting LGBTQ+ business offerings. That is what ultimately must change. But it does matter that a vote for sanity was made in the other direction and perhaps momentum can build. Here is some background on the UN support for all things LGBTQ+ :https://margox.substack.com/p/global-corporations-for-global-causes?r=1kuq0

Wow, is very surprising when going through the country voting list, noting also those who abstained like the Philppines
Absolutely fab article Penny Marie.
They make things so complicated. Which if it is, then they are making shit up.

Thank you so much for reading. You're on point, and the TQ industry is totally after the 'disability' money. It already gets it, I think.
